On the morning of 13th January, professor Kanichi Mimura from Osaka Kyoiku University, Japan, and professor Lixin WANG from Tongji University were invited to visit the School of Physical Education and Sports Science at our university. Professor Ye Xinming, Dean of the School of Physical Education, and Professor Wang Yue, Director of the Institute of Sports Economics Theory, met with the guests. The meeting was chaired by Professor Ye Xinming.
Prof. Xinming YE first extended a warm welcome to Prof. Kanichi Mimura and Lixin WANG. He provided a detailed account of the faculty's current development and emerging disciplinary directions, expressing his hope to further collaborate with Osaka Kyoiku University in areas such as talent cultivation and joint disciplinary development.
Prof. Kanichi Mimura expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the warm welcome and detailed introduction extended by the School of Sports Science and Engineering. He highlighted Osaka Kyoiku University's experience in enhancing students' physical fitness and ing campus football, and expressed his hope for further deepening cooperation between the two institutions in the areas of educational resources, faculty development, and talent cultivation.
At the meeting, Prof. Yue WANG, director of the Research Institute of Sports Economics, reviewed the achievements in talent cultivation and the status of cooperative education between the two institutions. Both parties exchanged views on deepening their collaboration, engaged in thorough discussions regarding project content, and reached a fundamental consensus along with an initial willingness to cooperate.
