At the 2rd ‘Fengpu Cup’ Digital Martial Arts Competition held on 25th May 2025, 60 teams from across the Yangtze River Delta region competed on the same stage. EUCST team, comprising 30 participating students, emerged victorious.
The team comprised five core members of the martial arts squad alongside twenty-five female students from various schools. Under the coordination of Jun HAN and the dedicated guidance of two accompanying instructors, the team participated in fourteen competitive events. On the field, the athletes seamlessly blended the essence and power of martial arts, emerging triumphant from the field of competitors through their spirited demeanour and formidable prowess.
Ultimately, the team achieved awards across all categories: two first prizes in individual events and three second prizes in individual events; in team events, they secured one first prize, one second prize and one third prize; moreover, the school was honoured with the ‘Outstanding Organisation Award’ for its exceptional organisational skills and outstanding performance.
During the preparation period, teachers and students overcame numerous challenges through over a month of intensive training. From mastering fundamental techniques to fostering team cohesion, enhancing physical conditioning to refining every detail, each drop of sweat embodied their passion and dedication to martial arts. This accolade not only represents the highest commendation for the competitive spirit demonstrated by the participating faculty and students, but also stands as a powerful testament to the school's commitment to deepening the integration of physical education and advancing the legacy of martial arts culture.
