From 13th to 15th June, the 2025 National Athletics Grand Prix (Fourth Stage) concluded triumphantly at Bengbu Sports Centre, delivering a spectacular athletics spectacle for spectators. As a Category II event sanctioned by the Chinese Athletics Association, this stage attracted 1,542 athletes from provincial and municipal associations nationwide to compete. Yue PAN, a student from the 2021 International Economics, delivered an outstanding performance. She surpassed her previous personal best, achieving a new PB of 11.55 seconds and clinching the gold medal in the women's 100-metre sprint! This triumph stands as the finest testament to her rigorous training, embodying the sporting spirit of ECUST students who fear no formidable opponents and strive relentlessly.

Following her victory, she teamed up with fellow alumnus Zhangwei TONG and other teammates to secure a silver medal in the subsequent mixed 4x100-metre relay event.

Congratulations to both students! We look forward to their continued success in future competitions, bringing further glory to ECUST sports. The school will also persist in strengthening support for the development of sports teams and talent cultivation, striving to nurture more reserve talents and emerging forces for the nation's sporting endeavours.
